Guest
We were up there the week before the 4th and couldn't catch a cold. It was really slow, we tried everything in the book, from lindy's, bottom bouncers w/ spinners, pitching jigs to trolling cranks and didn't catch one walleye. We got some cats and white bass, but that was it, We fished all around the Cheyenne River up to Charlie's then even further north to Sutton Bay. What's the skinny on that private golf course up on Sutton Bay? Looked really nice. Bait shops around Cheyenne River and south said to head north, and bait shops up by Whitlocks said head south. Not good reports. sorry.
walleyewizard
We were out there June 26-29. Caught all our "slot" and "over" fish, but had trouble finding the "bonus" fish. We'll be back this Thurs. also. Hopefully those little guys will be on the bite. Good luck!

walleye69
Hey ifishsd. Do you have a GPS? We fished out of Bush's landing last weekend and did really well. Caught 20-30 fish per day with quite a few in the 18-20" range. The best bite was in the early morning from 6:30-10:00am. All of our fish were caught in 10-20' on crawlers and spinners. I pulled a few coords on the GPS where we caught our fish. I will e-mail you the coords tomorrow if you have a GPS.Let me know

Mn Walleye 1976
Was out 3 weeks ago. Fished the Mobridge area only. Had a hard time finding smaller fish, but caught plenty of fish in the 15-19 inch range. Most of our fish were caught on minnows, jigs & lindy's. 12-15 foot area.[This message has been edited by Mn Walleye 1976 (edited 07-14-2003).]

walleye69
Fished Oahe on with a buddy on Sunday in the Corp Bay to Peoria Flats area on Sunday. Kept 10 walleyes in the 14-19 inch range. Also tossed back 6-8 under 14". Caught all of the fish in 15-25' on spinners with crawlers and plain hook and crawlers. Also caught some nice smallies up to 3 lbs. The bite has slowed, but you can still catch some nice fish if you put your time in.
