Anybody have any luck finding those Waubay crappies thru the ice? What parts of the lake do they use during the winter? Very few fisherman seem to catch any, but there are some real slabs out there. Any info would be helpful.

My last time on Waubay Adam Adler and I hunted them down. Electronics are a must! And then you have to know what you are looking for. We found them in 25 ft near a shallower feeding flat. I agree they are hard to find but worth the chase. They are some real monsters.

We got into them suspended at 8ft. in 14-16 ft. of water along the Grenvile Grade by the trees.

We had best luck with Northland Glo jigs and a Crappie Minnow...
