south dakota fishing license

was out in s.d. fishing last year and i bought a year long license, the only problem is i left it in duluth where i go to school and i don't feel like driving 5 hours to go get it, i know in minnesota you have to pay 5 dollars to reprint the license, but i do not know what they can do for me in south dakota, does anyone know what i should do becasue i plan on spending the next 4 days chasin some s.d. fish. thanks for the help~

My nonresident SD license bought in 2002 expired 12/31. They are good for the calender year, not 1 year from date of purchase.

looperhunter, If I'not mistaken you can get a replacement license. You have to go back to the place you bought it,or contact SDGFP, the fee is less than ten bucks. sd gord

You should buy a new license for this year, instead of paying the fee to get a copy of your old license.

You guys are correct. it is good through end of Jan. I was looking at a reservation license.

thanx for the information, gonna hit the waubay webster area for some pike and maybe find some perch, but this cold front and 30 mile an hour winds might slow things down for a bit? do any of you dark house spear?
