How's the ice on Thompson?

The report today from Mac's Bait Inc.Is the ice is from 5" to 8". But walking only!!They say the bite is good all day for Perch and walleyes.

is that pretty much cosistent all around the lake. i'm gonna try to make it up there in the morning. gonna try the oldham road area

I was out on thompson today the ice was questionable. Maybe 8" but 4" was clear and 2 to 4 " was questionable. Did not stay long did not like the feel of the ice. Later went to Dry lake No. #2 the ice was 8 " clear not a problem for me.
Did not get a touch.
