Strikemaster ?

Ode

Question

Hello all,
I have an older Strikemaster mag 3 and it leaks gas around the hose below the tank. I bought a new tank thinking that was the problem, but I believe it has something to do with the filter and where the hose hooks up. Any help with this would be appreciated.
Thanks, Ode

Ode,
I've had the same problem. If I recall, there is a small connector that slides into the hose and the filter. I fed the new hose into the fuel tank opening, where you would fuel it from with the connector and filter attatched. I fished it thru the fuel line hole and it seated it self. I have done this twice. I recomend you zip tie or tape the loose fuel line to a stable part of the auger. Mine got caught on something to help loosen it.
Hope this helps...
Good Luck...

Scupper,
Thanks for the information. I did this completely wrong, I did not thread it through the hole, I put the filter in the tank and pushed the hose up to the bottom of the tank. Sometimes I have a brain fart!!!!!
Thanks again, Ode
