Weirdest Beards

Got a chance to check out a string of beards from Dick Alford at the sportshow, which got me thinking.....what are the strangest looking beards you've ever seen?

Any doubles, triples....more?!?!?

2 years ago I got one with a double beard. longest was 11 1/4" the second 7 1/4". A buddy of mine shot one that weighed 26# and had a real thick beard but only went 5" looked like he might have lost half of it somehow.

The weirdest beards I saw were ones that didn't exist. Had two mature gobblers come in without any beards. Not a single strand! That was a bummer!

One of the birds I shot had a deep reddish hue on the last 1" of his beard. That was interesting.

I've heard of beards in a V-shape. The guys I was talking to swore it was because the turkey had a bum leg, causing it to step down the middle of the beard when it walked with the broken leg.
