streaming the Vikings

Does anyone know if it is possible to watch Vikings games live online free or paid? I currently don't get channel 9 and don't want to get a year of cable to watch one channel for four months, thanks.

NFL.com has Game Pass but they aren't live and aren't available until shortly after the game ends, I believe.  I think it runs $100!

If you have Verizon you can watch live games for $5/month but would have to watch on your phone and I don't think you can "cast" the video to a monitor.

If it would let me link to my laptop from my cellphone I would be interested in the Verizon deal.  That would be handy as heck...  Great in the HSOList.

So I too am interested if anyone knows if we can "cast" from our phones to our laptops or monitors.  I am watching the Dallas - Vikes game now.  Sure would be fun in the fishhouse.  Or maybe even in a ground blind.  Although I am a screamer..   lol   I don't know if I could keep quiet enough.

A lot of "if's" to follow, but there may be a way...

If you have Verizon, and if you have an Android smartphone, and if you have the NFL Mobile app downloaded, and if you have the latest and greatest Android software (Lollipop) installed, and if you have a Chromecast, you should be able to use the "Cast Screen" feature of Android to cast the streaming game from your phone to your TV via the Chromecast.

Android Kit Kat may work as well.  Just make sure your Chromecast app is updated so that it has the "cast screen" feature.  

The NFL Mobile app with Verizon says that it will stream Thursday, Sunday, and Monday night games, along with "regional" games (regional = Vikings?  Not sure).

I'll check it out this weekend to see if the theory works or not.
