Howdy,

I decided to try my hand at bedding an older (1965) Winchester model 70 in a 300 win mag... Everything went very well, I did however put the bedding all the way through the forearm to seal it up nice, and add strength to the whole works... however, in looking back at directional videos i realized that I put my bedding tape all the way back to the recoil lug, rather than stopping it short of the chamber... Will this be an issue, or should I rebed this area prior to firing??? I also did not put bedding tape on the underside of the recoil lug, The front and both sides I did... which also was not exactly how the video I watched showed (Midways video)... SOOO lesson learned I should have triple checked myself... but, wondering if either of these are big issues, or if it will be OK...
