Since it seems many of us are in Fantasy Football and also that we are actually trying to follow the game I created this thread so that we can follow some "late-breaking news"

First off

Ricky Williams - RB-MIA - Retired....

David Boston - OUT FOR SEASON. I guess he messed up his knee in practice and is OUT.

Marcell Shipp - Wrecked ankle out at least 2 months.
UPDATE: He was placed on IR 9/1 officially ending his season.

Tim Brown - Released by Raiders, Signed with the Bucs 8/10

That's all I have for now, but I'll keep you posted.

Here's some late news.

Kellen Winslow - TE Cle- Signs finally....sissy

Chris Perry - RB Cin - Signs as well

This leaves only 2 of the first round picks left to sign.

Anquan Boldin - WR Pho - Hurt his knee stretching before practice, no word yet on severity.

UPDATE:Arizona Cardinal WR Anquan Boldin underwent arthroscopic surgery today
(Wednesday) to repair torn cartilage in his right knee. (He has a good chance to return by week 1.)
UPDATE #2: He had more of a tear then thought it is typically an 8-12 week injury.

Marty Booker-WR-Mia - Well Marty was traded to the Phins in a very interesting Turn of events. Where he goes as a clear #1 WR to now being the #2 in a shaky offense...his value is down.

Correll Buckhalter - RB-Phi- Done For season with a torn Patela Tendon.

Quincy Carter - QB - Jets - The Jets signed Carter to be there backup. So unless Pennington gets hurt he doesn't have much value.

Marcus Robinson - WR - MN - Well he seems to still be nagged by his ankle injury. Tice says he is now the #3 receiver behind Burleson. As he hasn't much time to play with the offense and it is a difficult one to learn.

Mike Anderson -RB Den- Out for season with GROIN injury........ouch!!

Troy Hambrick - RB---ARZ- Hambrick was just traded to the Cardinals. If he can learn the system and regain some speed he is #2 behind Emmit Smith so basically he should be starting by week 5 smile.gif

Morton Anderson -K- MN - As soon as KC dropped him MN decided to pick up it's 3rd kicker in 2 weeks. I was hesitant to add him to this considering the Vikes may decide to add another here to make it an even 4.

Joe Nedney - K- TEN- IR out for Season

Former NDSU Bison RB Lamar Gordon traded to Miami. He's not expected to play much on Sunday, but will get the starting job the next week. He might be a really nice player. He was a guy that I thought Lovie Smith might try to get in Chicago. Very good all-around back. I think everyone in our league put a claim in for him yesterday.

McCardell is talking like he may join the team...but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Gordon is most likely done for the year.

Charlie Garner is done for the year.

Duece is out for 3 weeks.

Kleinsasser is done for the year.

Rex Grossman is done for the year.

Kellen Winslow is done for the year.
