Anyone have any tips ideas where they will be on lake and what baits to use?

There is a couple articles online if you google ice fishing for bullheads. It would seem like late ice in shallow muddy bottoms with a small crappie minnow. I would go to a couple lakes that only have bullheads and try to find them and apply that to other lakes. There are a few in the metro area that have nothing but bullheads. At least then you know if you mark a fish it must be a bullhead right?

my buddy and i watched some bullhead on the camera one outing. they seemed very lethargic no response from them with any bait we presented but we didnt have any night crawlers.

I have caught a couple over the years while bluegill fishing and they pretty much just followed the bait rite up the hole however not fast by any means.
