Couple more December Grays

Called the first one into a small field, maybe 5 acres at the most but it butted up to some creek bottoms. We've taken them here before and figured it wouldn't be a long set. I first saw him come out into the far side of the field but couldn't get the gun on him fast enough so I kept ramping up the volume and then cut it way back for about 10 minutes, then I see him sneaking in on the down wind side. He didn't get very far.#5

Called #6 out after a good 30 minutes. Pretty long set for a gray at a property I've never killed anything at but had seen several tracks crossing the road. I was calling on and off and the caller had been buzzed by two owls already so I felt like maybe tonight was the night for this spot. I had just shut off the caller and thought I heard something in the tree line 50 yards away. I was scanning the shadows with the binoculars but couldn't make anything out along the dark edge and thought it might have been one of the owls again. So I turned the caller on again but real low so I could barely hear it and this big old male busts out of the brush then slowly starts making his way to the caller and that's when I let one go and he's down.
