Gas lights

brakedancer

Question

I have two gas lights in my fish house. They don't seem as bright as they used to be. I cleaned the globe that's not the issue. Just not the really bright light like before. Is there a way to clean a oriface ? I haven't used the house for about 4 years

Could be that the propane is extremely cold and not flowing properly. Lately we've had quite a cold snap. Last year during the "polar vortex" my 20 pounder was stored outside in 20 below for a couple of weeks. When it warmed a bit we went fishing and I had a heck of a time getting my sunflower to ignite. Put the tank in the truck, warmed it up and the gas flowed like normal.
