i was told by a tackle shop in alex that berkley is no longer making 6" power slugs. they have been my mainstay this spring and summer (shallow and deep). does anyone know if this is true for sure?? if it is, what other types of "slug" baits is everyone having success with? i've tried some others and not had as much success. maybe it's just a confidence thing (i hope so). any info appreciated. thanks in advance. later.

It is true, the 4" and 6" slugs are no longer in production. However, if you want to buy enough, you can call down to the factory and they will make a special production run for you.

Hey Ross,

Do you know if berkley has also quit making their 4 inch pro power tubes and gone with strictly the 3 inch tube and a 4 inch flippin tube? The pumpkin 4 inch pro power tubes had been one of my best baits, but i have run out of them and can't find them anywhere.
