JigginIsLife
SO i got a new pro view for xmas, and i have an older FL-8se that is about 12 years old, does anyone have any issues with using the pro view with the 8? any suggestions or things to pay attention to. Also if I have a bad ducer how will i know? I know the potential is there for a bad ducer, but just wondering how a person knows?
Crappyfisherman
Set you locator on the kitchen counter and hang the transducer so it's just below the counter top and it should read about 8 feet. Feel the bottom of the transducer and you should feel it and hear it clicking. The Proveiw will work with any Vexilar.

JigginIsLife
Lawrence, You couldn't have answered my question more fully, thank you so much!I think we need to have a perm thread somewhere with Vexilar, Marcum, Bird, etc Equipment helpful videos. I never even thought that Vexilar would have a video like this.
Lawrence Luoma
Glad it helped. Pro-View will make the FL-8 shine, also. You may want to make sure you get an S-Cable if using the Pro-View in less than 18 feet of water if you don't already have one. Low Power will help while using it.
