Army
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the ice conditions are in the Waubay area lakes. Can a guy drive out with 3/4 ton trucks and houses or is the ice unsafe. Was planning on heading out on the 26th for a few days, any info would be greatly appreciated. carpshooterdeluxe
There are guys driving trucks up there, but there are also trucks dropping through as well (buckshot area on waubay). If you have access to an atv, I'd recommend it. Rain & wind, and temps in the 30's last night aren't helping the ice any.Make sure you stop by one of the lodges or bait shops when you get into the area and get an up to date ice report for any areas to avoid.
