Ice fishing clubs?

Looking for a group of people that, like myself, don't like fishing alone. I'm thinking something like the club posts a location for the weekend, and whoever can make it just shows up, and much fun is had by all.

My problem is I can only get out maybe every other weekend, and most of my friends tend to go North for their fishing trips. I can't really afford to make big trips, so I'm stuck with area lakes, usually Pleasant or Spunk. To top it off, my fishing trips are usually spur-of-the-moment when I figure I have enough lull in my daily duties.

So with that in mind, I'm wondering if anyone knows of any clubs in the St Cloud area that I might be able to join up with? I have all my own gear,including a 2 man hub, and can borrow out a few rods if need be.

OK then, Plan B. Who wants to start a club? Whoever is heading out this weekend and would like some company, post the lake you'll be on and some way to identify yourself.

If nobody wants to volunteer, I'm going to try to be on Grand Lake by Rockville this Sunday. Will know for sure if I'll be able to get out on Friday, and will update this thread then. I'll be the big guy in black Carhartt jacket and bibs wearing the brown bomber hat.

I did check that forum, but;

1) Hasn't been a post in about a month, and that was for a contest.

2) Can't find mention of anything in the last few months close to my area of St Cloud.

I'm really hoping to find enough people like me who lack fishing buddies with flexible schedules.
