Is this a good deal?

A guy is trying to sell me his 2009 Grizzly 550 with add on big tires and rims with a snowplow for $6200. Apparently these are the type of tires you cannot put chains on and were an additional $1650 add on when he purchased them. This thing only has 100 miles on it as he has just never had time to use it. It always sits in a 70 degree heated/cooled shop. It looks brand new.

Opinions?

That machine is now 6 years old (2015 models are now out) and with only 100 miles on it, I'd be concerned that it hasn't seen enough use.

As for the tires, it depends on what your intended use is for the machine. If they're the extreme deep lug mudders, they're not really suitable for anything but mudding.

Honestly, I'd flash $5500 and see if he bites. If he bites, walk away smiling with your new machine.

Not having any oil flowing over the internals could possibly lead to issues if condensation were to build up inside the motor leading to rust or oxidation. Fuel system components will become clogged/gummed up if the fuel isn't treated before inactive/storage periods.

Others might have opinions on this but I would proceed with caution if the machine wasn't at least operated or started on a monthly basis at a minimum.
