So I purchased a 6" piece of a PVC cap to cover my hand auger blade (mora 6" double blade). I will do some modifying to keep it attached and keep the weight down (didnt realize how heavy PVC was. But I think that the pvc material is a bit soft for the blades and I dont want the PVC to break down or the blades to dull anyone have any suggestions on something i can put in there that is a bit more dense to keep from cutting into the pvc material?
