Believe me guys, I get it. I am one of you.As soon as muskie opens that is all I can fish for. Every time I try and fish for something else I get about 200 yards and say " Enough of this! " Back to swinging the broomstick. Got one of my sons bitten by the curse too. I will break ice to go duck hunting and he will break ice to get the boat out after muskies I am more of a duck hunter though. Just wanted to bring it to your attention that duck season is only 60 days long. Already half over. Musky is open around

6 months . I know that your season is winding down too. Just wanted to ask that you please be considerate of duck hunters. Keep in mind that 90% of the time waterfowl will land into the wind. That means if you are downwind of a decoy setup 1. They can't shoot if birds come in. 2. Birds won't come in because of a boat 3. Depending on the ethics of the hunting party, your boat might get rained on by a bb or two. Again just asking for a little consideration between fellow sportsman. If you are on a 2500 acre lake and you are the only boat I KNOW there are other spots than fishing directly downwind of someones decoys. Thanks to all who will give this a little thought.
