I just bough a drop down ice house trailer frame that is the pivot (or scissor) style where the back of the house is on a pivot point and the front of the hitch moves up as you lower the house down. Does anyone have an experience with building one of these or have one? Im working on putting one together and have a few questions such as

- how did you secure the drop down part of the frame to the pivot point on the back of the trailer

- Recommendations on how to distribute the weight

- Any other ideas on how to proceed
