Sabo
I have a question on the youth hunt this weekend. I will be taking my 11 year old out, just wondering if we can use motorized spinning wing decoys?
CANOPY SAM
No. I don't believe you can. Even for the youth hunt I believe the early season ban on spinning wing decoys is in effect.
Sabo
That is exactly what I was thinking but wanted to make sure. Thanks
totally_addicted
I was wondering the same thing so I asked the DNR. Here is the response I got: "No it is not. See page 11 of the waterfowl regs for more details on when you can use them. Here is a link to the regs: http://files.dnr.state.mn.us/rlp/regulations/hunting/2014/waterfowl.pdf#view=fit "
fishersofmen
My 12 year old son got his limit this morning! I was really impressed with his shooting even surprised at a couple of drops. He seems to have an extra strut in his step ever since we got home...
