BemidjiBasser-

You and I fish the same lake, me thinks. Doubt you were targeting bass with the BT Clack! I bought both versions, though haven't fished them. Wondering if you had anything else besides bass show an interest in them? Or, did I just fall for the hype? Feel free to PM me.

Btw, the biggest bass I ever caught from Lake Minnetonka was an October giant that fell for the musky sized version of the Boogerman Buzzbait. Avid musky guys who also fish bass know just how big a bait bass will try to tackle...and it's usually much larger than most bassers think! Heck, We've caught bass after bass at night fishing double 13 blades this year!

I was wondering about the buzzbaits that have the longer wire, are they used for specific situations? I use normal sized ones, but I've seen other companies have long wired ones. I haven't seen any shows or know anyone who use these longer ones.

I saw those at Cabelas yesterday and grabbed one. They sure look long, but when in the water they don't seem as long. Maybe they work if the fish hits behind a bit. It almost seems like the wire will bend real easy though. They had a whole bin full of them on sale for $2.99 normally $6.99, so they must not sell real well. Next time out I will give it a try. They also have a double hook instead of a single.
