Pike in the Crookston area

Recommended Posts

Ttl, You can shoot on over to Maple Lake, just to the east of Crookston, and you'll find a few pike in there. Just south of Maple there is Union Lake. There are some very nice pike in that lake, but you'll have to sort thru a lot of smaller fish to find the big girls.

We're coming up on some of the best times of year to catch nice pike. I've caught several fish in Union that were pushing 15 lbs. They are all still swimming in that lake.

Of course, Lake of the Woods, just a couple hours north of you, is absolutely LOADED with giant pike. Gimme a holler late this fall and maybe we can swing up there together and find you a big trophy fish.

Oh, and BTW, there is a regional forum further down the main page where you can find fishing information on specific areas. There is one there for the Crookston (NW region) area, Lake of the Woods, and Fargo/Grand Forks/Red River.
