Redwood Siding Repair

Anyone know of someone who would repair some redwood siding in the north suburbs? Wood peckers have put holes in a few places, including one small piece that is near the very peak of the roof--way high, probably 30 feet. I don't want to reside the whole house. it also would need replacing of the caulk along the vertical joints on the corners.

Thanks.

I can't help you with any company recomendations

Yes there is the obvious carpenters or siders who can help and do a great job to meet your needs but I also have a little something to add that you may not of thought of.

Alot of residential painters have a nac for that.It comes with the job time to time.Alot of professional painting companies have that one guy on the crew who does light carpentry or wood replacement.Caulking comes with the territory. If anything needs touching up, restained uniformly to match up with the rest of the wood or resealed what ever the case may be ,you got the painter to take care of it too.

For me,6 out of 10 exterior painting jobs, I'm replacing partial areas or entire sides of a house trim or siding because of splitting, rotting.Wood pecker holes are diagnosed differently depending on location and final damage of the hole.

So you can get all of it done in one shot from a painter too.

Wouldn't hurt to have them come by and take a look at it.

Just my 2 cents
