IMO, I believe you can get the best bang for your buck at the St. Paul Ice Show or the Portable Modification Get Together. A lot of dealers are willing to wheel and deal at the Ice Show to try and move product and that is where I would personally try (especially big ticket items).

While I love the new(er) Blaine show, the amount of inventory/vendors at the St Paul Ice show creates the most competitive environment(especially on Sunday). This has been my experience at least. (In the last few years, I've bought a castle, FL-28, new flip-over, camera along with other "gear")
