Polaris Ranger fan won't quit running?

I've got a '06 Ranger 700 XP. When I shut it off the cooling fan continues to run at a LOW speed. I have to unhook the wiring to get it to stop or the battery.

Battery checks out good, coolant level is good and wiring looks ok.

I found some other threads that say it's a bad ECM Module...also saw it called a PDM module. I found the part online but it's about $225.

Anybody else ever heard of this problem?

The module is probley bad like your post says, if you don;t want to replace it or spend 200 plus $, rewire the fan so it turns off and on with the ign. switch. It will just run when the switch is on.
