Bureaucrat Posted August 10, 2014 Share Posted August 10, 2014 Killing time, I've been looking at different brands of fish houses out there. There are a couple brands that are all aluminum. Their exterior is aluminum, the studs are aluminum. If you have aluminum from the outside all the way to your paneling, won't the cold conduct through the siding then the aluminum stud and all the way to the paneling and cause bad condensation? jentz Posted August 10, 2014 Share Posted August 10, 2014 Yes in the 1 1/2 inch the metal studs meet the interior finish.But even wood transfers,not at the rate of metal.Condensation with air flow isnt much of a problem when its vented out.
