Trailer guide ons

CapnJack

Question

What is everyone using? I have an Alumicraft 14 ft. on a Shorelander trailer and I'm currently looking at the Cabelas deluxe guide ons that have the light bracket at the top. They go for about a hundred bucks. Any one have experience with these?

We have the Cabela's bunk guide ons on our Shorlander trailer for our Crestliner FH 1750 but we have had them on for close to 10 yrs. They work fine for how we use them as we only load our boat 5 or 6 times a year.We bought them to help with loading in the fall as it's usually windy & we struggled to get it on right.Be careful though,I read some of the newer reveiws & they have changed the material the bunks are made of.They are now composite & seems to have a history of breaking.A lot of guys on here think they can make their on much cheaper & better.
