There are a few little sleeper lakes that I won't mention, but I would have to say my favorite popular fishing lakes are

#1 Red Cedar in Barron County

#2 Yellow Lake in Burnett County

#3 Cedar Lake in St. Croix County

I gotta add The Big Chip too, but haven't fished it a whole lot.

Just got back from Red Cedar a couple hours ago. It is a fun lake for action, but the minimum 18" size limit makes it extremely difficult to have a walleye dinner. If you're lucky, every 15-20 fish "might" produce a keeper (for me anyways) cry

What are your favorites Math Teacher??

My top 3 would be Wissota in Chippewa Falls, Yellow Lake has moved up after fishing it last week for the first time and the Chip Flowage with Turtle-Flambeau Flowage next.

I'd love to try the TFF, it's on my bucket list. The only lake I fished that far over was the Gile (on ice) with a buddy that has a cabin near Hurley. The bite was short lived but sure was hot and heavy!

Never fished Wissota, but have heard good things smile

Headed to Appleton this month for work, and am more than tempted to bring the boat along for Winnebago...... they are doing very well out there right now

.........so many lakes and so little time..... cry
