Question

I am out working on the road this summer. Had tranny flushed and refilled the day before I left. I noticed later that night that the guy had over filled it, brought it back in and he said it was no big deal. Now my trans guage is wacky and it shifts funny. Could this be from the overfill? I did put on about 120miles while it was too full... 03 Ford f250

Ive never been a fan of a tranny "flush". Drain, replace filter, fill. The thought of pumping in new fluid while pushing the old stuff back through the filter or any place it may have settled worries me.

I would agree that too full wouldnt be a problem though, but depending on miles I would consider dropping the pan and replacing the filter.
