Anybody else have an issue with this years garden seeds not sprouting? I have talked to a few other guys that have had the same trouble I have. I planted on Memorial Weekend, had some things come up in 4-5 days. other things very poor, now 2.5 weeks later. Last night I replanted beans, pees, cucs, cantelope, watermellon. Very few plants popped up. I am talking 3-5 in a 25' row. I have had great success in this garden the last few years but this year these vegatables have been terrible so far. But my corn, sunflower, pumpkins, tommatoes are looking awesome!

I have had the same problem. We have replanted beans three times now. The first two times we planted the very next day it down poured big time. I think that didn't do us any good. We just replanted for the third time on Monday. Hoping this time is it!

Just part of the annual garden lottery......a lot of variables. Had problems with melons, carrots, and spinach this year. Melons....think it was too early and the the lack of heat. Carrots..... got the snot pounded out of them a few times after emerging. Spinach.....have no clue, third year in a row. Might not have a clue with the other two either, but sticking with my story wink On a related, but side note, can get radishes to sprout and grow, but hardly ever a good crop.......
