Trout 101 a Huge Hit

Recently, I was asked to host fishing clinics with a local group that like to explore the Coulee Region.

With the season opener coming up next week, I decided to make the first clinic focused on trout.

8 adults, 5 children, and a doodle dog came to Mormon Coulee Park located in La Crosse's south side to learn about trout habitat, stream restoration, discuss rules and regulations, and most importantly lure selection and how to catch this mysterious fish.

Following clinics will be Kayak Bass Fishing, Cranberry Marsh Fishing, another trout clinic, and a salmon fishing trip.
