Wow, there's a link over on WC to an article regarding this HUMUNGOUS California Bass. Says its the 4th alltime biggest recorded, and possibly would have exceeded the world record as it was spilling roe thru the weighing verification process. What Walleye snob would'nt wanna catch that monster!!!!

Yea, I saw that one... what a monster... For us MN guys it is tough to imagine a fish that size... wow!

I'm leaving Sunday for a 3 day California bassing adventure! Hitting the Delta Sunday afternoon/evening, followed by 2 days on Clear Lake (the self-described Bass Capitol of the West). With any luck I'll need to whip out the credit card to get a replica made! Biggest Clear Lake bass I've heard of this year was 15.4...what a hawg!

Those Florida strain bass grow big in California!
