Lowrance Lake Insight

I need to update my Gps chips for my Lowrance Hds gen 1. Should I spend the extra money on the HD model or go with the Pro? I was told that the HD model isn't worth the extra $50 from a very reliable source. Want some more input on it be fore I pull the trigger. Also is there a big difference between 2013 and 2014?

I looked at both also didn't see the advantage of the Hd over the pro. In fact I personally like that you don't need to zoom in so close on the pro to see the contours. I have a insight pro 14 only thing different is a few more lakes. If I could of found a 13 cheaper I would of bought that instead.

HD has 3D but its kinda worthless as the zoom is waaaay to far out. Consider Avionics if you want that feature plus many many more...platinum is on sale and you can find it for only $10 more then premium.
