Revo Rocket - High Speed

Is this potentially a Musky reel?

I'm thinking it could handle decent size baits like top waters, smaller spinners, etc. It also had the 20lb max drag 2 lbs off of the NACL or Revo Toro Winch Max drag. The smaller reel does worry me about the casting ability as well.

Is a guy better off spending the extra $200 just going with the Shimano TRANX if he wants high speed, durability, and casting distance?

If the Tranx HG or PG are in your budget, go with them. This will be a great bass reel, but doesn't have the guts for hard pulling muskie lures. You'll never regret the Tranx

It has a standard 200 size spool so it is definitely built for bass fishing and not muskie fishing.
