UMC
I'm replacing the little bow piece of wood in my boat and I need to remove the light plug and can't get it apart. I'm guessing the top (metal part) should separate from the bottom (plastic), but it doesn't seem to want to budge - any tips? It looks like this:

UMC
I've got the screws out and I have the board off the boat so getting to it is no problem. Just can't get the black plastic part to pull apart from the metal part.

Just can't get the black plastic part to pull apart from the metal part. It doesn't come off,They come from the factory with 8 inch or so pigtail wires permanently attached, those are attached to the boats wireing.I have tried to take them apart for broken wires,Its tough and may break. UMC
Ok, that's what I was wondering. I guess I'll just have to cut the wires and then reattach once I put the new board in. Thanks for the help.
