Has anyone tried them yet? I got the SnapBack Jerk Shad from Cyberfish as a gift and as that the ice went out today, I put one on to examine the action. I was not impressed. Because it floats you have to weight it down, but the weight inhibits the action. Why would I want to spend the time fine tuning this when a Zoom Super Fluke is perfect right out of the package? I'll probably use it on Carolina Rigs though.

This is my first impression and only of the Jerk Shad; the Fluke is one of my "Go to" baits and I don't think bouyancy is a plus with this type lure. You want that slow subtle fall and the ability to sashay the bait with long wide turns, short quick turns, or with wild irregular action. I couldn't get the SnapBack to range very wide and it's wild irregular action was muted compared to a fluke.

Basspastor, one of the great points to 3x baits (strike King) cyber-flex. is durability. My best so far is 17 bass on one fry. Try this for the flukes, us a 1/8 mushroom head jig (gopher tackle) because the 3x is so durable I use smelly jelly to lub the jig and then super glue it. I think you will be impressed the the change in action.
