Senior license question

Minnesota fishing and hunting license options for over 65 senior. What is the best option cost wise with both of us fishing and small game hunting? We don’t usually catch nor need a lot of fish with just a meal here and there for two people. We mainly hunt ruffed grouse with a little jumping shooting of ducks. Thanks for all the help with this confusing issue.

for fishing your options are either a normal regular license($22) or the conservation license ($15). the conservation license cut your limit of fish you can keep in half. so you need to decide if the $7.00 savings is worth it to you. as for small game hunting there is a seniors license that is for people 65 and older. this license is $13.50 and with it you are not required to have the state duck and pheasant stamp but you may still need the federal duck stamp and get the HIP certification on your license.

If you are 90 years of age or older you are exempt from license requirement. How ever you have to have a valid I.D.
