Twin Cities smallies

I know that that the mississippi and minnetonka have smallies. What other lakes or rivers have smallies in the cities? Also, what is good smallie tactics for the miss?

Both the Rum river and Crow rivers have smallies. Raps and Twisters work the best for me.

I can think of a few other lakes that have smallies, but nothing in the immediate twin city area...although I'm sure they are around.

Check out the St.Croix river a little south of William O'Brien State Park access. Some BIGGINS down there, we catch some 21"'s frequently. My favorite lure down there is the Rebel Tiny Wee Crawdad. Not to much recreation up that way either, it's pretty shallow, so you might want to be carefull and just putt-putt around. Good time I love it on the river, CAN'T WAIT for summer.
