St. Croix Travel Rod Review

Recommended Posts

I had a St Croix travel rod for years, a heavier model in their inshore series. LOVED that rod...I caught everything from Sturgeon up on the rainy to tuna and dorado down in Mexico on that rod. Great action, and never had any issues at all with the multiple piece aspects of it.

Wouldn't you know it...it's the only rod I've ever lost overboard in my life, and it took a great saltwater series Diawa reel to the bottom with it.

Oh no, that's not good! Did it go over board from a fish? A wave?
