hi i bought a couple of these and i've had one before. i noticed the finish seems like its sticky or something anyone else notice they are new and i remember my old one was the same way i hope they wont melt. feels like bug spray got on them but it doesnt stick to your fingers just wondering thanks

I've had the finish peel off them (specifically Rattle Traps, not Raps). For 3/4oz I use the Strike King Red Eye Shad. For me they hold together well, have a good action, and cast a country-mile. For 1/2oz I bought a bunch of Rattle Raps when they were on sale a few years ago for $1.99 each.
