GoPro compilation video

I have had a GoPro now for a couple of years and have some great fishing and hunting videos. Right now they are just on my Mac in a folder, but I'd like to learn how to make compilation videos and share them with friends that I go on trips with.

Does anyone have experience/advice for me on how to do this? I have I Movie on my computer and am wondering if that would work?

Thanks in advance!

I got a gopro this year and have been having a blast making fishing videos and a few hunting ones. iMovie makes everything really simple, I can't remember if there was a tutorial I watched but I would check to see if there is one and I'm sure a tutorial would lay everything right out for you. Otherwise you can import your video directly from your sd card to imovie by opening imovie when you plug your sd card in and create an event for it. I don't do this, I import it into iphoto. Once it's in iphoto you create an event in imovie, right click on that event, select import movies, and highlight the ones from iphoto and you now have video in imovie. Once video is in imovie you can make a new project and it's not too hard to figure out from there, just highlight sections of video you want (one at a time) and drag them up into the project section. Once you got all the video for the project you can drag over some transitions, music, pictures.. When the project is done go in the share tab and select export movie, once you've exported it you can upload it to youtube or any of that stuff. Good luck.

Do you have I tunes? It's easy to import the music and just place it over the clip on the editor. There are lots of very helpful how tos on YouTube that would do a way better way of explaining than I can without my Mac in front of me. I typed "music to iMovie in the search bar on

YouTube and came up with a bunch Of easy to follow videos
