loadmaster
Recently purchased a 2500 short box. Have a Frabill Ambush that fits in the bed but does not leave a lot of room except for the auger on the side. Was wondering if anybody has come up with a solution. Was thinking of building up the rails and installing plywood to hold everything else. I do have a topper on.>>>later the load
randerson
The bed of your truck should have 2 tear loading just run a few 2x4's across the bed throw a sheet of plywood on top and then you will have room beneath your shack if that won't give you the hight you need build a deck on top of the topper side rails and but shack under neath just remember to secure your gear on that top shelf or you will more than likely bust out a topper window and that can get expensive Good luck
loadmaster
That was my idea for a short fix. Was thinking some type of a sliding system with one 2x4 along the rail then a layer of plywood and then another 2x4 on top that way you can use half the bed in the back have the tray upfront, and when needed slide the tray toward the rear. Will have wait till it warms up for the mod>>>>later the load
