Jeremy airjer W
If your looking at just getting OBDII codes you shouldn't have to spend more than $100. if your looking for OBDII and ABS you can expect to pay around $250. You can find low end scan tools that will get you codes and limited data for less than $500.As far as brands pick a couple that peak your interest and do a little research. Make sure they can do what you expect and are compatible with the vehicles you own. The Launch Creader line is a pretty decent entry level scan tool. sand_pike
I am thinkng of picking up a code reader, any recomondations? I use this torque app $5 for the app and about $10 for a wireless bluetooth adapter from amazon. Bluetooth to your tablet/smartphone and you're good to go. SkunkedAgain
I clicked on the developer's link to the bluetooth adapters and they are in the $80-$200 range. You say that the $10 one works just as well?
