hog roast

I am looking at doing a whole hog Pig roast this spring. I am going to rent a roaster and do it up right. What I am looking for is any advise and/or tips on places to purchase a hog for doing this. Thanks guys and gals

Where are you located at? I know a guy that raises hogs, and has quite a few roasters to rent. He does a lot of parties where he roasts hogs and he will rent the roasters for the do- it - yourself deal. Plus I'm sure that he will give you tips......I've did 2 or 3 from him and he is really helpful.
