frabill 101 reel help

hi all. help i bought a 101 frabill reel combo. this is the fly reel style do you just tie the line to it and reel it on and how do you flip the bail being there is none or do you just unwind it to the fish on the right side is a knob i cant budge it is this the drag how does it work checked internet didnt find much thanks

You just tie the line to the reel and reel it on... there is no bail... you just unwind it to drop it down, which can be tight or lose... as that is your drag. It's really the only bad thing about it is unwinding it... the knob takes the reel off, which is fine (no small parts you have to worry about losing)... sometimes if you unwind too quickly, the line can get "sucked up", and you need to undo the screw to fix it... doesn't really happen often. I actually really like the combo, for the price... I'm sure others will disagree, but to each their own.

Im guessing since you mentioned "flipping the ball bearing" your looking to turn it to the opposite retrieve side? Im guessing if you take the spool off, on the inside there will be a way to get to the one way bearing to reverse it... thats how most of them are, I have no hands on time with the Frabill though.
