Plastic or Spinners?

I was just wondering what was better plastic or spinners? I have fished with lots of spinners and plastics but i dont know which one works best for Lake of the Woods.

I use spinners and they always seem to work well. The opener this year will be a little different from others because of the snow, so you'll have to use trial and error.

I'm thinking a 1/8th oz mushroom jighead with 6" Power Bait worm might be a good way to start. If they are active in this cold weather and water, I'll go to spinner baits.
