Mounting Skis to Spearhouse....

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys, I've poured over the threads and couldn't find any good examples of what I'm looking for... I recently built my first spear shack, it's 4x7.5, 2x3 hole in the center. I used 1/4 Chipboard, 2x2's, insulated 1.5", and louan inside. Well, it turned out much heavier than expected. I am looking for a clever way to A) Transport it - I figured snowmobile trailer. and B)How to mount downhill skis to it on the 7' backside. I figured I'd tip it onto it's back once I got to the lake, tow it with ATV, then stand it upright on blocks when I set it this weekend.

Any insight on past projects would be helpful. Thanks

This is as simple as it gets but I think my new house I am just going to build a sled that use skies of some sort that the house sits on.
