fishbark32
So I’m fairly new at ice fishing (started about 3 years ago with some friends) and I have gotten pretty big into it. I bought a used two man fish trap last year and I use my ATV to pull it. I like fishing early ice and smaller lakes so my ATV is the way to go, the only problem is I can’t keep my shack from getting full of snow and ice when I’m buzzing around looking for fish. Logically I bought a cover for my shack, but once that thing gets wet and frozen its basically useless and ends up becoming more work to thaw it out and dry it every night. Any ideas? Lusid
I think they sell some water repellant spray for fabrics. You could try following their directions to help water accumulation on the fabric.Goodluck!
bltbowhunter
When I had a wheeler, I had a rack on the back of it. From the rack, I hung big rubber truck mudflaps from it. It worked well to keep from kicking all that snow and slush on my house.
centralmnguy
I mounted a 3" X 3ft. square steel beam (the kind with holes punched in each side) on each side of my atv rack. I can fit my clam sled right on the rack & use tie downs. I also have a mount for my auger. It is up off the ground so your sled doesn't get banged around & it doesn't get full of slush & snow.
