Snowmobile lodging Mille Lacs area

We are thinking about making a trip up from Iowa to do some trail riding somewhere in southern to central Minnesota since we have no snow at home. My question is how far north do we have to drive to find good snow and good trail systems? I've never rode in Minnesota so I'm clueless about trail systems. The farthest we would want to travel would be the Mille Lacs area. I'm assuming there is some lodging or resorts right on the trail system so we wouldn't have to trailer? Ideally a resort with bar and grill right on the trail is what we would be looking for. If that's not possible a motel we can snowmobile to with dining close by would work great too.

Try Mc Quoids, lodging and rite on the snowmobile trail, they rent sleds too so Im sure they would be happy to help with any questions, numerous bars and restaurants in that area also. They are in Isle Mn.
